PROFILE OF DR. OGUNJIMI, Mayowa Olurotimi

Dr. Ogunjimi Mayowa Olurotimi is the current Acting Head of the Department of Adult and Primary Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He had been a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/Ijanikin, Lagos State for nineteen years before joining University of Ilorin in April, 2016. He had his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation from University of Ilorin, Ilorin in 2008, Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Educational Measurement and Evaluation from University of Benin, Benin City in 1995, Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) in Elementary Education from University of Calabar, Calabar in 1991, and Nigeria Certificate of Education (N.C.E.) in Agricultural Science from Ogun State College of Education, Ijagun via Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State in 1987.

He had about twenty-seven publications comprising of eighteen number of journal articles; five number of book chapters; and four number of books. He has attended many workshops, seminars and conferences.

He is a member of Early Childhood Association of Nigeria (ECAN) and Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN)

His teaching and research interest is in the area of test, measurement and evaluation in childhood education.
